Want to Volunteer?

There are several ways to get involved at Kilbourn Park’s Greenhouse. It is easy and rewarding! Depending on your interests, you may choose between volunteering at the Chicago Park District's Kilbourn Park Greenhouse or joining Friends of Kilbourn Park Organic Greenhouse. By completing a volunteer interest form, you will be contacted by either the Kilbourn Park Greenhouse staff or Friends of Kilbourn Park Greenhouse and soon you'll be on your way to making a meaningful contribution to our community.

Kilbourn Park Greenhouse and Gardeners: If you want to "dig in" and be hands-on, volunteering  to work with Kilbourn Park Greenhouse staff on planting, maintenance, plant propagation or in the Annual Plant Sale, volunteering in the Greenhouse may be a great opportunity for you. Greenhouse Volunteers on average dedicate 2 - 4 hours per month. If you want to learn more or volunteer, indicate your interest by completing a volunteer interest form. 

Join the Friends of Kilbourn Park Greenhouse (FOKPG). Join and volunteer to be part of Friends of Kilbourn Park Greenhouse (FOKPG). We are a dedicated group of gardening enthusiasts who meet monthly (third Wednesday) to plan and launch educational, community focused events and fundraising activities to benefit the Kilbourn Park Greenhouse. Events include the annual Seed Swap, Plant Sale and Harvest Celebration. FOKPG members generally dedicate between 4-10 hours per month. If you want to learn more or volunteer, indicate your interest by completing a volunteer interest form.
